How our "wildly reliable" commitment extends beyond the office

"Wildly reliable" means many things to us right now - in both our personal and professional lives. Here are some examples (below) of how the RELYCO team members are putting those words into action for each other and the larger community:

  • Brenda Chaisson shared a wonderful morning routine that has helped her get through tough times. We were so inspired that we made her tips into a document!

  • Joni van Gelder is working with others in her town to donate non-perishable food for lunch bags. They are currently offering close to 100 bags per week to anyone who needs one, no questions asked. Go Joni!

  • Susan Sayers (mask-maker extraordinaire), Kara Lapierre and I have all (separately) been ordering local produce, meats, seafood and dairy from Sandy Hill Farm in Eliot, Maine. Farmer Bill is offering a wonderful service for his customers, while also raising (and matching!) money for the local food pantry. So far, the farm has raised $6,441!

  • Kelsey Petty started a terrific recipe project for the team. She is gathering everyone’s favorite recipes and will be creating a RELYCO cookbook.

  • Like many other kind people are doing nowadays, Lyndsay Vachon is doing grocery runs for those around her who are older and in higher-risk groups. Thanks LV!

  • After we transitioned to working remotely, our “Fun Committee” hosted a virtual Spirit Week to bring everyone together. Each day had a different theme (PJ Day, Hat Day, etc) and employees participated by sending a picture of themselves dressed for the theme. The only catch? You had to send your picture to all staff to give EVERYONE a laugh. (What better way to bond a team than mutual silliness?)

Reply to this email and let us know how you’re helping others. We’d love to hear your stories and what’s working to boost morale for your own teams!
